As a Senior Python Backend Developer – Financial Services, you will be working for our client, a leader in the financial industry dedicated to shaping innovative banking solutions. Your main responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend logic using Python and FastAPI, ensuring high performance and scalability.

- Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate REST APIs, optimize data flows, and improve system responsiveness.

- Design, implement, and optimize database schemas in relational databases, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.

- Contribute to the application of best practices in version control, code reviews, and Agile methodologies.

- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues proactively, ensuring system stability and security.

- Adopt DevOps practices by working with CI/CD pipelines and basic containerization tools (Docker) as needed.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative financial solutions aligned with client’s strategic goals.

- Write clean, reliable, and well-documented code, maintaining high standards of quality and security.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

- Over 9 years of professional experience in software development, with strong backend expertise.

- Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

- Proven skills in developing RESTful APIs and working with relational databases (SQL).

- Mid-level experience with Angular and TypeScript for frontend integration.

- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive web design.

- Knowledge of Git, Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban), and basic CI/CD concepts.

- Experience in structured corporate environments with security and coding standards.

- Basic familiarity with Docker or containerization (preferred).

It is a strong plus if you have:

- Experience in fintech, banking, or financial services.

- Basic knowledge of security guidelines in software development.

- Additional certifications or skills in DevOps or containerization.

Language requirements:

- Fluent in Portuguese.

- Good command of English (minimum B2 level).

- French language skills are a plus.
