Data AI Solution Architect

We're looking for an AI Solution Architect / AI Champion to join our team in Portugal in a fully remote working mode. In this role, you will support Bureau Veritas’ European Regional Team in its strategic transformation toward an AI-native development model (AI SDLC). You will define AI solution architectures, configure AI-assisted development and testing environments, and implement agent-based workflows that enable progressive maturity adoption across software development cycles. This is a hands-on, high-impact role requiring expertise in generative AI architectures, development workflow integration, and developer enablement in enterprise Agile environments.ResponsibilitiesDefine architecture for AI solutions tailored to diverse software technology stacksConfigure AI development and testing environments including GitHub Copilot, AI coding assistants, and LLM tools under source controlImplement AI-native workflows and maintain version-controlled agent configurations, context files, and reusable workflowsProvide technical training sessions for development and QA teams on AI adoption in SDLCDeploy and validate the first agent-based workflows within a Scrum-based real production environmentDocument AI use cases, workflows, and best practices for cross-project reuseCollaborate on creating technical recommendations to enable Level 2 and Level 3 AI maturity foundationsWork with program leads to refine AI adoption strategy aligned with enterprise goals and governanceRequirementsProven experience designing and implementing generative AI solution architecturesHands-on expertise with AI-assisted development frameworks and agent-based automation (LangChain, LangGraph, or similar)Familiarity with configuring AI development aids (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLM-enhanced IDE plugins) under source control practicesStrong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices for continuous delivery pipelinesAbility to train cross-functional engineering teams on AI-native workflows and usage standardsExcellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills in complex technical environmentsNice to haveExperience with large-scale AI transformation programs or AI maturity frameworksKnowledge of enterprise security and compliance for AI tool adoptionBackground in setting up observability, governance, and evaluation standards for AI workflowsFamiliarity with co-pilot tools benchmarking, and AI-assisted testing strategiesWe offerCompetitive compensation depending on experience and skillsVariety of projects within one companyBeing a part of a project following engineering excellence standardsIndividual career path and professional growth opportunitiesInternal events and communitiesFlexible work hours
