IT Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Manager to oversee and manage our company's information technology systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the field of IT management, with a strong understanding of both hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee the implementation and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks

Develop and implement strategic plans for the efficient use of technology within the organization

Manage a team of IT professionals, ensuring their skills are utilized effectively and that they are meeting project deadlines

Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency

Ensure compliance with security protocols and policies to protect company data

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for system upgrades or changes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Minimum of 5 years experience in an IT management role

Strong understanding of hardware, software, networking, and security systems

Proven track record of managing successful IT projects from conception to completion

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team

Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively

Biometric passport or willingness to obtain one for international travel

Location: Funchal (with accommodation provided)

Salary: $1300 per month (contract position)
