Master Data Finance Analyst

In our Shareholding (SH) department, you will join a collaborative team that drives finance digitalization, improves global processes, and manages key applications and financial master data essential for transparent, reliable reporting across the organization.

This is an opportunity to work at the center of Siemens Energy’s finance transformation. You will help make our processes and applications more consistent, efficient, and future-ready while partnering with IT and finance experts to design the data, process, and system landscape of tomorrow. With a strong focus on Participation Management and the CISS process, your work will turn business needs into practical Accounting solutions with company-wide impact.

How you'll make a difference

- Shape global governance and policies for Siemens Energy Subsidiary Management across processes, systems, and data

- Create transparency across Siemens Energy’s global participation landscape by preparing the list of shareholdings

- Ensure complete and timely central provisioning of statutory and organizational master data to local ERP financial accounting systems and central group closing systems such as Group Reporting/ADSTAR

- Strengthen collaboration across functions and support consistent process compliance across the organization

- Drive the strategic development of application architecture and related finance processes

- Translate functional requirements into new central shareholder controlling instruments and reporting solutions

Contribute to transformation initiatives, including acquisitions, reorganizations, and other strategic projects

You will be trusted to take ownership of high-impact topics and work closely with your team lead and key stakeholders across Finance and IT From shaping concepts to coordinating implementation, you will have the opportunity to bring in your ideas, build end-to-end solutions, and make a visible contribution to Siemens Energy’s ongoing finance transformation.

What You Bring

- 3-5 years of professional experience, including two to three years in a specialist or systems-related finance environment

- Experience with Siemens Participation Management (CISS) is a strong plus

- You enjoy working through complex topics, turning requirements into practical solutions, and bringing hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas:

- Finance process engineering

- Accounting and reporting

- Functional design of finance-related IT systems, including development, implementation, and support

- Cross-functional understanding of Siemens finance applications, interfaces, and data flows

- Ideally, experience working in an international environment

- Successfully completed a degree in business administration or industrial engineering and enjoy collaborating across functions and cultures. You communicate clearly, build trusted relationships, and are able to bring stakeholders together around shared priorities and practical solutions

- You are confident using Excel and MS Office and bring solid reporting and presentation skills. Knowledge of Power Automate and Power BI would be highly appreciated as we continue to strengthen digital, automated, and data-driven ways of working. Experience with Snowflake would also be an advantage

- You are comfortable communicating in English, (German would be nice) and in a professional business environment and are motivated to contribute to an international, collaborative finance community
