We are now looking for a

PHP Developer

to join our team in

Porto , Portugal.

*For this position, you have to be already in Porto, Portugal, and have legal documentation to work in Portugal.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain, enhance, and modernize an existing Symfony application for the BPCE-SI entity.

Develop robust, secure, and scalable features following best practices.

Configure and optimize Symfony installations for high performance.

Design and build custom plugins and bundles to meet specific business needs, leveraging existing open-source solutions when appropriate.

Collaborate within your squad and the wider PHP Factory to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.

Actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD.

Must-Have:

A minimum of

5 years of professional experience

in PHP development, with a strong focus on the

Symfony

framework.

Proven experience in configuring and customizing Symfony environments.

Solid understanding and practical experience in building and integrating plugins/bundles.

Strong commitment to security principles and software development best practices (SOLID, DRY, clean code).

Hands-on experience with

CI/CD

pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

Professional proficiency in

English (B2 minimum) .

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with

WordPress

development.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Experience working in the financial sector or other regulated environments.
