We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (K8s, AWS/Azure & Secure Delivery) ️

To join the engineering and managed services environment of an IT performance and technology services organization, supporting enterprise customers operating digital platforms across banking/insurance demanding industries.

The team helps production ecosystems where Java / Spring Boot microservices running on Kubernetes coexist with established application infrastructure based on Tomcat, WebLogic and Apache, connected to enterprise databases OracleDB, PostgreSQL. and Mongo.

Skills

Production experience with EKS/AKS, operating containerized Java / Spring Boot workloads;

Cloud (AWS or Azure) production application environments;

Terraform as IaC for repeatable and version-controlled infrastructure provisioning;

Linux administration and troubleshooting across hosts, containers and application platforms;

Java / Spring Boot applications from an infrastructure and runtime perspective;

Application infrastructure such as Tomcat, WebLogic and Apache;

Production exposure to Oracle and PostgreSQL, particularly application connectivity and availability dependencies;

GitHub Actions/Jenkins engineering for Java applications, container images and EKS/AKS deployments;

Monitoring and troubleshooting across application, JVM, container, Kubernetes, cloud and database layers;

Hands-on DevSecOps (dependency/container vulnerability checks, secure deployment configuration and secrets management).

Responsibilities

✅ Operate and evolve EKS/AKS platforms hosting Java / Spring Boot microservices in production;

✅ Troubleshoot degraded workloads across pods, services, ingress, resource limits, networking and application dependencies;

✅ Maintain and provision AWS/Azure infrastructure using Terraform and version-controlled Infrastructure as Code;

✅ Support application deployments across Kubernetes, Tomcat, WebLogic and Apache-based environments;

✅ Build and maintain GitHub Actions/Jenkins workflows that package Java applications, create container images and deploy workloads into Kubernetes;

✅ Monitor and investigate issues across Java services, Kubernetes clusters, cloud resources and Oracle/PostgreSQL dependencies;

✅ Participate in critical production incidents and perform root-cause analysis across application, middleware, container, network and cloud layers;

✅ Automate recurring activities related to environment provisioning, deployments, Kubernetes administration and platform maintenance;

✅ Integrate DevSecOps controls into GitHub Actions/Jenkins, validating application dependencies, container images, Terraform definitions and Kubernetes configurations before production;

✅ Ensure secrets, tokens, certificates and credentials are securely managed and work with development teams to remediate security findings.
