Data Mining Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Braga. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and insights that will drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced knowledge of data mining techniques, and experience working with various databases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect large sets of data from various sources

- Clean and organize data for analysis

- Use statistical methods to identify patterns and trends in data

- Create visualizations to effectively communicate findings

- Collaborate with other team members to develop strategies based on data insights

- Regularly monitor and update databases to ensure accuracy

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field

- Proven experience in data mining or a similar role

- Advanced skills in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages

- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools like SAS or SPSS

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of machine learning techniques

- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI

- Familiarity with cloud-based database systems like AWS or Azure
