AWS Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines that enable our organization to harness data for decision‑making and innovation.

Requirements

AWS Glue: familiarity with Glue Catalog, Glue Jobs, and Glue Crawlers for ETL operations.

AWS S3: solid knowledge of bucket management, data transfer, and security features for data storage and retrieval.

AWS Lake Formation: experience building and securing data lakes, including architecture and policy management.

AWS Athena: ability to write and optimize SQL queries for performance.

Data Modelling: skills in designing and implementing data models for specific use cases.

Security: basic understanding of AWS security best practices, including IAM roles, security groups, and encryption.

Performance Tuning: ability to optimize the performance of AWS services for specific use cases.

Troubleshooting: ability to identify and resolve issues related to AWS services.

Communication: ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical team members.

Project Management: capacity to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.

AWS Certification: AWS Certified Big Data or AWS Certified Solutions Architect is a plus.

Nice to Have

AWS Redshift: understanding of data loading, modeling, and performance tuning for data warehousing.

AWS Aurora: familiarity with relational database services, including database management, SQL, and optimization.
