OutSystems Tech Lead

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead OutSystems to join a dynamic team responsible for delivering innovative digital solutions using the OutSystems platform. You will play a key role in leading development teams, defining technical architecture, ensuring best practices, and driving the successful delivery of scalable enterprise applications.

This position combines hands-on technical leadership with mentoring responsibilities, making it ideal for someone passionate about both technology and team development.

Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of applications built on the OutSystems platform.

- Define technical architecture and ensure alignment with business and technology strategies.

- Guide and mentor developers, promoting best practices and high-quality development standards.

- Review code and ensure compliance with performance, security, and scalability requirements.

- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

- Support the full software development lifecycle, including estimation, planning, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the evolution of development processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in software development.

- Strong experience developing applications with OutSystems.

- Proven experience in a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or Senior OutSystems Developer role.

- Solid understanding of software architecture, integration patterns, and application lifecycle management.

- Experience with:

- OutSystems Service Studio and Lifetime

- REST and SOAP APIs

- SQL databases

- Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

- CI/CD practices

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Fluent English.

Nice to Have

- OutSystems certifications (Associate, Professional, Expert, or Architecture Specializations).

- Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

- Experience in enterprise-scale digital transformation projects.
