Entry-Level PHP Developer

We are seeking a talented and driven Entry-Level PHP Developer to join our team in Almada. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining dynamic web applications and websites. Your primary focus will be developing and implementing server-side logic, defining and maintaining databases, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of all web applications.

Responsibilities

Write clean, testable, and efficient code using PHP programming language

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing code to improve functionality

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic

Design database schemas and implement data storage solutions

Ensure cross-platform compatibility of web applications

Optimize website performance by utilizing caching techniques

Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of PHP development

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)

Proven experience (or strong academic background) in PHP development

Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles

Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases

Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is a plus

Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) is desirable

Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment

We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month along with accommodation. We also provide free visa sponsorship and air ticket for international candidates.
