We are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).
Responsibilities:
Effectively manage and solve production incidents (Windows Servers; Linux Servers);
Follow-up and coordinate changes and technical operations (implement new releases, application life cycle, etc.);
Participate in change management (applications and infrastructure), which involves collaborating with different teams such as development, sysadmin, DBA and networking;
Monitor applications and infrastructure in an effective way.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in similar roles;
Good knowledge on both Linux and Windows environments;
Good knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, Python and/or PowerShell);
Experience with JBoss, TomCat, Apache or IIS;
Basic knowledge of databases (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server and/or MySQL);
Experience with monitoring tools (ideally Zabbix or Grafana);
Knowledge of LDAP, Firewall, Reverse proxy, Active Directory and Kerberos;
Good networking knowledge (IHS, Load Balancer);
Experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and Power Platform;
Experience on Control-M or another industrial scheduler is a plus;
Fluency in English.
