Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a

Senior Java Developer

to join an international team working on a mission‑critical reference data platform within the financial services sector.

This platform is at the core of a global ecosystem, providing a unified view of securities and market data while ensuring the highest standards of data quality, reliability, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a business‑critical reference data platform

Ensure high standards of quality, security, scalability, and performance

Participate in the full Agile software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and code reviews

Collaborate with production support teams on releases and platform maintenance

Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide L3 support when required

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of software development experience

Strong expertise in

Java 8+

Solid experience with

Spring Framework

Strong knowledge of

SQL

and relational databases

Experience with messaging technologies and asynchronous systems

Familiarity with

CI/CD pipelines ,

Maven ,

Git , and

Shell Scripting

Experience working in Agile environments

Strong understanding of software testing and requirements analysis

Nice to Have

Front‑end or Full Stack development experience

Exposure to Angular and/or React

Experience navigating and enhancing complex, mature codebases

Knowledge of Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Cash Equities

Soft Skills

Ability to work effectively within globally distributed teams
