Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps engineer to join our infrastructure team. You will challenge yourself in the fast‑paced world of cloud infrastructure and play a key role in SAP’s strategy to move to the cloud.

What You’ll Do

- Develop and maintain a monitoring system that oversees our build landscape.

- Identify and address security and performance issues to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

- Design, implement, and manage DevOps capabilities using CI/CD toolsets and automation.

- Analyze existing infrastructure and provide expertise on containerization and migration to Kubernetes (K8s).

- Ensure system design reduces exposure to single points of failure and security vulnerabilities.

What You Bring

- 5+ years of experience preparing, deploying, and maintaining solutions using microservice architecture.

- A cloud mindset with an affinity for automation (Go, Bash, Shell, or Python).

- Knowledge of continuous integration, testing, and deployment.

- Experience in datacenter, cloud, and network environments.

- Troubleshooting and support experience in system monitoring.

- Fluency in written and spoken English.

Tech you bring

- Public Cloud Services: Managed Kubernetes clusters, Managed Database clusters.

- Containerisation & Microservices: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.

- Source control & CI/CD tooling: Flux, Git, GitHub Actions.

- Observability & Monitoring tools: Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki.
