DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
As Systems Engineer, you will:
Testing new database technologies in the lab environment.
Create, maintain and ensure adherence to security policies, procedures, technical baselines, guidelines, and control standards.
Implement database activity monitoring, sensitive data discovery, and vulnerability assessment modules.
Collaborate with Client Information Security and project team members.
Writing technical documents and presentations.
Be responsible for supporting Palo Alto Networks systems which are running in the customer environment.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Systems Engineer:
Technical/Education
Graduated from related departments of the university (Computer / Mathematics / Electronics / Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer and Instructional Technologies, etc.)
Having competent knowledge of Network and Security technologies and hands-on experience
Knowledge of database technologies (Oracle, Mssql, Mysql, Postgresql etc.)
Preferably previously worked in the field of Database Security (Used/managed solutions such as IBM Security Guardium or Imperva)
Knows the SQL language and can write simple SQL sentences
Relative experience working with Linux, Unix and Microsoft Windows Server
Having the ability to think analytically, skilled in problem solving, creative, result and solution oriented
Experience in people management, especially highly performing and services-oriented teams
Able to adapt to flexible working hours
Strong communication and coordination skills
Willing to learn and open to development
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
High presentation and reporting skills
Able to speak English well and will not have any difficulties in communicating abroad
