Linux System Administrator H/F

We are currently seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to join our team in major financial group.
Responsibilities:
•Manage, maintain, and monitor Linux servers and applications, including system updates, patching, and configuration management.
•Perform regular system and security audits, vulnerability assessments, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
•Proactively identify and resolve system performance issues, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
•Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
•Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing.
•Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
Profil Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator, preferably in the financial or banking sector.
•Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS) and system administration tools.
•Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Openstack) and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift).
•Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and load balancing solutions.
•Knowledge of storage solutions, such as SAN, NAS.
•Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or Perl) for automation and process improvement.
•Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible) and version control systems (Git).
•Understanding of ITIL principles and experience working within ITIL-based environments.
•Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
•Relevant certifications such as RHCE are a plus.
•Fluency in French
