Java Backend Developer

What will you do?

Develop, maintain, and continuously improve robust backend services and integrations for business-critical applications.

Design and implement scalable software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architectures.

Collaborate with architectural leads to ensure adherence to security requirements and development standards.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to code quality, performance optimization, and technical improvements.

Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance software quality, efficiency, and developer productivity.

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, automated testing, and agile ceremonies.

What are we looking for?

At Aubay, our focus is on professionals who bring both technical expertise and the right mindset:

Proven professional experience of at least 6 years in Java backend development, specifically with Spring Boot.

Solid expertise in designing and implementing REST APIs, microservices, and backend integrations.

Experience with messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of containerization technologies (Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

Demonstrated experience with AI-assisted development tools and agile methodologies.

Fluent English and Portuguese language skills, both written and spoken.
