Shopify Lead Developer

Experis is looking for a Shopify Lead Developer to join a dynamic e-commerce and digital commerce company, working on high-volume B2B e-commerce projects and contributing to the growth of its development team.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom Shopify, Shopify Plus and/or Magento solutions.
• Build and optimize high-volume e-commerce stores, focusing on performance, responsiveness, Core Web Vitals and SEO.
• Develop custom themes, functionalities and integrations using HTML, CSS/SCSS and JavaScript.
• Work with REST/GraphQL APIs and third-party integrations such as ERP, payment and marketing platforms.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to code reviews and scalable, well-documented codebases using Git.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality e-commerce solutions.

About you:

• 6+ years of experience in e-commerce development, with strong experience in Shopify/Shopify Plus and/or Magento.
• Hands-on experience with high-volume e-commerce stores.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs and third-party integrations.
• Experience with React or Vue.js is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with both Shopify and Magento is valued.
• English – mandatory.

Location: Lisbon

Work model: Hybrid – flexible, with on-site presence in Lisbon
