We are looking for a

Java Developer

Design, develop, and maintain insurance product solutions within a risk exchange platform.

Build scalable, high-performance, and maintainable applications using Java.

Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and Agile development processes.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Develop, optimize, and support SQL and MongoDB databases.

Conduct code reviews and contribute to software quality improvements.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.

Contribute to the continuous evolution of the platform by adopting industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Java Developer.

Strong expertise in Java development and object-oriented programming.

Proven experience working in Agile environments, particularly Scrum.

Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.

Solid knowledge of SQL databases and database design.

Experience working with MongoDB and NoSQL databases.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Fully remote position, with candidates required to reside in Portugal.

This role offers a gross annual salary between

€25.000 and €60.500 , defined according to the candidate's experience and competencies.

Permanent contract (CTI).
