Systems Engineer

Day-to-Day

You will develop complex systems engineering solutions for the Monitoring, Control, and Protection of Power Systems, ensuring compliance with technical, quality, deadline, and budget requirements. You will lead the definition of technical architectures and functional specifications, support project teams, and collaborate directly with clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Define technical architectures and specifications for substation automation and protection systems (and other solutions in the Energy field).

- Prepare functional and technical specifications for complex solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements.

- Select and define equipment and technologies suited to the solution.

- Support the Project Manager in scheduling and technical coordination with clients.

- Supervise and actively participate in configuration, testing, validation, and commissioning activities, ensuring the operability of solutions.

- Prepare technical documentation, as well as operation, maintenance, and training plans.

- Mentor and train junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.

- Participate in technical forums and innovation committees, contributing to the technological development of the unit.

What we’re looking for?

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Systems Engineering, Automation, and/or Power Protection roles.

- Strong technical expertise in automation, protection, data networks, and communications.

- Experience with databases, power grids, and primary substation equipment.

- Fluency in English (French and Spanish are a plus).
