Senior Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Almada Portugal. As a Senior Software Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex software systems collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design solutions and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality code.

Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain software systems using various programming languages

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions

Write clean efficient and high‑quality code

Troubleshoot and debug software issues

Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them into our systems

Ensure software security by implementing best practices and protocols

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers

Mentor and train junior developers in coding techniques and best practices

Participate in project planning estimation and documentation

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely delivery of projects

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Developer

Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java C++ or Python

Experience working with databases SQL or NoSQL

Excellent problem‑solving skills

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Experience with Agile development methodologies

Biometric passport is preferred but not required

Salary 1500$ per month negotiable based on experience

Location This is a full‑time position located in Almada Portugal
