We’re Hiring: Data Engineer — AWS

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and work on modern AWS data platforms, Lakehouse architectures, data pipelines, and scalable ELT solutions.

Work Model: Fully Remote

Time Zone: Portuguese time zone

Key Responsibilities

Support and develop data ingestion and transformation frameworks

Design, maintain, and optimise Iceberg tables

Manage compaction and retention processes

Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines

Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline and data processing issues

Support domain teams in implementing scalable ELT and orchestration standards

Contribute to performance tuning and optimisation

Ensure data solutions are reliable, scalable, and production-ready

Support release management and SDLC deliverables

Contribute to data engineering best practices and platform standards

What We’re Looking For

Professional experience as a Data Engineer

Strong experience with AWS

Experience with Lakehouse architectures

Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg

Strong knowledge of ETL / ELT and data processing

Experience with data pipeline orchestration

Experience with performance tuning and optimisation

Good understanding of data engineering best practices

Experience working with production data pipelines and troubleshooting

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Fluent English

Experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Lake Formation, DataZone, MWAA, or Step Functions is a plus.
