MAIN TASKSBuild, lead, and develop a team of Solution Architects.Define the solution architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap across multiple engineering domains, in alignment with Enterprise Architecture.Translate long-term architectural goals into practical guidance for product and engineering teams.Ensure solutions integrate effectively across business capabilities and technical domains.Identify, prioritize, and reduce technical debt while balancing delivery needs with long-term system health.Define architectural standards for high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk management, including NIS2-related requirements.Improve system reliability through resilience reviews, maturity assessments, and failure testing.Guide teams in designing scalable, secure, cloud-native, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.Promote architectural practices such as event-driven design, domain-driven design, and API-first development.Align Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Product stakeholders on technical decisions. YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLSDegree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.Several years of experience in Software Architecture or Solution Architecture.Proven experience leading technical teams, such as Solution Architects, engineering teams, or architecture chapters.Strong software engineering background and hands-on experience with modern programming languages.Experience with AWS or Azure and distributed systems.Solid understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity, and resilient system design.Ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions and manage technical debt.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to combine strategic thinking and practical execution.Fluent Portuguese and strong written and spoken English (at least B2).Availability for occasional travel within Europe.Availability to work from the office once a week during the first 2–3 months, followed by approximately once a month.
