Senior .NET Developer

We are looking for skilled

. NET Developer

to build, maintain, and modernize secure, high-performance SaaS applications and enterprise software systems. This role focuses on engineering robust backend architectures, developing web APIs, and leveraging cloud-native technologies to deliver scalable, accurate digital solutions for professional industries.

This is a

B2B contract opportunity

with a

hybrid work model , requiring

2 days per week

of on-site work from the office in Porto, Portugal.

Requirements for the candidate:

Language & Framework:

Expert proficiency in C# and modern .NET Core / .NET (Versions 6 through 9).

Web Tech & APIs:

Deep understanding of

ASP.NET Core Web API , MVC, and microservices architecture.

Cloud Platform:

Practical experience developing and deploying within

Microsoft Azure

(including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and Key Vault).

Data Layer:

Strong experience with

SQL Server (T-SQL)

and

Entity Framework Core

for database orchestration and query optimization.

DevOps:

Familiarity with source control tools (Git) and CI/CD automation platforms like

Azure DevOps

or GitHub Actions.

Candidate responsibilities:

Application Development:

Design, write, and maintain high-quality, scalable code utilizing C# and modern .NET frameworks to build enterprise-grade applications.

API Architecture:

Build and optimize high-throughput, secure RESTful APIs and microservices to support cross-platform integrations and frontend consumers.

Cloud Integration:

Deploy, manage, and scale cloud resources within a cloud ecosystem, ensuring high availability, performance, and optimal resource management.

Database Management:

Design, optimize, and maintain relational database schemas, complex queries, and data-access layers using modern ORM tools.

Quality Assurance & CI/CD:

Implement thorough automated testing (unit, integration, and API testing) and participate in configuring automated CI/CD pipelines for zero-downtime deployments.

Collaboration & Code Quality:

Engage in agile ceremonies, perform constructive peer code reviews, and adhere to strict security and coding standards.
