Your mission We are seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to join our Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) team at Dorel Juvenile. In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating agile practices within a team focused on delivering data-driven insights and analytics solutions. You will work closely with data analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective project completion in a dynamic and evolving data landscape.
Key responsibilities Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) tailored to the BI&A team’s needs.
Collaborate with BI&A team members to refine backlogs, define sprint goals, and ensure prioritization aligns with business objectives.
Promote agile methodologies and foster an environment of continuous improvement in data analysis and reporting practices.
Address and remove impediments specific to data projects, ensuring the smooth flow of information and resources.
Facilitate communication and collaboration within the BI&A team and with external stakeholders.
Monitor and report on team progress using data-centric agile metrics and KPIs.
Champion a data-driven culture and support the integration of BI tools and practices in the agile process.
Your profile Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field.
3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a focus on BI&A or data-related projects.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with an ability to convey complex data concepts.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities, tailored to a data-centric environment.
Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
Strong understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework, especially as applied to BI&A.
Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL) and data warehousing technologies.
Background in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
