As an Azure Platform Engineer specializing in Azure Synapse Analytics, Managed SQL, and Azure Data Lake Storage, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions on the Azure cloud platform. Main Resposibilities:
Configure, and manage Azure Synapse Analytics , Azure Synapse workspaces, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake Storage solutions.
Monitor the health, performance, and scalability of Synapse Analytics services.
Monitor and manage data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Factory Data Flows, or other ETL tools.
Administer user access, roles, and permissions within Azure Synapse to ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies.
Optimize query performance, data storage, and resource utilization in Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure SQL Database.
Backup and recovery of synapse databases,ADLS
Implement and enforce data security measures and access controls in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Maintain data encryption, authentication, and auditing mechanisms.Manage user access and permissions to ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies.
Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager templates or Terraform to provision and manage Azure resources.
Set up monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and data-related problems in a timely manner.
Create and maintain documentation for architecture, configurations, and best practices.
Ensure adherence to Azure architecture and cloud computing best practices.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and company-specific data policies.
Good understanding of the ITSM concepts and detailed hands-on work experience on the Transition, Production support activities.
Maintain documentation on Power BI processes, configurations, and best practices.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in data warehousing, ETL, and data integration.
Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and data modeling.
Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security practices.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer or similar are beneficial.

Experience working with infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform
Experience in Infrastructure provisioning, monitoring and Ops.
Good knowledge of ITIL process.
Work in multilingual, multinational and multicultural environment on international projects
