We are looking for a

PL/SQL Developer

Develop and maintain business rules and application components within the OPAL Rule Engine, built in Java.

Contribute to the migration of business rules from

Sybase ASE 16

SQL to

Oracle 19c .

Analyse existing SQL code and redesign it according to

Oracle best practices

and performance optimization principles.

Identify and implement opportunities for

SQL optimization, code reuse, and maintainability , including the use of PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions.

Develop, configure, integrate, and deploy new or existing software modules according to project plans and functional specifications.

Collaborate with Business Analysts and other technical teams to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.

Follow established development standards, methodologies, and best practices.

Contribute to the documentation of technical solutions, developments, and processes.

Support module integration and deployment activities throughout the development lifecycle.

Professional experience in

SQL development , with strong knowledge of

Oracle Database (ideally Oracle 19c)

and

PL/SQL

(packages, procedures, and functions).

Solid understanding of

SQL optimization, performance tuning, and database migration , with Sybase ASE experience being a strong plus.

Experience with software development lifecycle, including

development, integration, deployment, and documentation ; Java experience is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for

code reuse, optimization, and maintainability .

Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.

This role offers a gross annual salary between

20.000€ to 35.000€ , defined according to the candidate’s experience and competencies.

Permanent contract (CTI).
