Unity Game Developer

We are in search of an experienced Unity Game Developer to join our team in Funchal. As a Unity Game Developer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing game features and mechanics using the Unity engine. You will work closely with the design and art teams to bring their ideas to life and ensure a high-quality gaming experience for our players.

Responsibilities

Design, prototype, and implement game features using the Unity engine

Collaborate with designers and artists to bring their ideas to life

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Optimize game performance for different platforms

Troubleshoot and fix bugs

Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends in game development

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Proven experience as a Unity developer with at least 2 years of game development experience

Strong knowledge of C# programming language and object-oriented design principles

Experience creating games for different platforms (e.g. mobile, PC, console)

Familiarity with game development tools such as Unity Editor and Visual Studio

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Excellent communication skills

Preferred qualifications

Experience with 2D/3D animation using Unity's animation system or other animation software

Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for games

Experience with multiplayer game development using Photon or similar networking solutions

Salary

$1100/month (negotiable based on experience)
