Okta Engineer (Mid-Level)

Job Description

We are looking for an

Okta Engineer

to join our Modern Identity team. We are looking for someone with hands-on Okta experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and an interest in developing their consulting expertise in a customer-facing environment.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in IAM, with hands-on experience in Okta;

Good understanding of IAM concepts, including authentication, authorization, access control, and lifecycle management;

Working knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM;

Experience with Okta, particularly SSO, MFA, Universal Directory, and Lifecycle Management;

Experience configuring Okta policies, access rules, and workflows;

Experience integrating Okta with SaaS platforms and enterprise applications;

Good technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;

Basic knowledge of PowerShell, Python, or APIs;

Good communication skills and ability to work with customers and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and maintain Okta environments according to customer requirements;

Support SSO, MFA, Universal Directory, and Lifecycle Management implementations;

Troubleshoot authentication, federation, and integration issues;

Support Okta integrations with applications and systems;

Work directly with customers to understand and resolve IAM challenges;

Create technical documentation and troubleshooting guides;

Collaborate with senior consultants and technical teams on IAM projects.
