Overview

act digital is a multinational company present in 12 countries, delivering customized and scalable IT solutions. In Portugal, we work with around 120 clients and a team of over 400 people across sectors including Banking, Insurance, Transport, Aviation and Energy.

We are looking for Senior SQL Developer to join an IT project responsible for the conception and development of a Data Processing application executed in batch mode using Spark SQL.

Responsibilities

- Conceive and develop a Data Processing application in batch mode using Spark SQL.

- Design and maintain MS-SQL based data processing pipelines.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

- Work experience: at least 5 years in an MS-SQL development environment, preferably in a Data Processing context.

- Skills must have: Transactional SQL; Relational databases

- Skills nice to have: Spark SQL; Object storage like S3; French (B2)

Working model

- Hybrid working model (2 days per week at the office) in Lisbon
