Data Mining Analyst

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Almada, Portugal. This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and insights that can inform business decisions.

Responsibilities:

Collect and compile data from various sources using data mining tools and techniques

Identify relevant variables and determine the appropriate methods for data analysis

Clean and organize data to ensure accuracy and consistency

Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations

Create visualizations and reports to present findings in a clear and concise manner

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies based on data insights

Continuously monitor data quality and make recommendations for improvement

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data mining techniques

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field

Proven experience in data mining or related field

Proficient in SQL, Python/R, Excel, Tableau or other data analysis tools

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets

Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present findings to non-technical stakeholders

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred:

Master's degree in Data Science or related field

Knowledge of machine learning techniques

Experience working with large datasets
