We are looking for a

Senior Backend Engineer

to join a team where you will have end-to-end responsibility for backend systems, from the design and development of client-oriented REST APIs to the construction of secure and resilient pipelines for data ingestion and processing.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a similar field;

At least 5 years of experience in backend development;

Solid experience in Python;

Knowledge of distributed systems;

Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL;

Experience in cloud environments;

Experience in the FinTech sector (valued);

Knowledge of KYC, AML, fraud prevention or compliance (valued);

Experience in developing large-scale data pipelines (nice to have);

Strong analytical skills, a sense of responsibility and a results-oriented approach;

Good communication and teamwork skills;

Fluency in English (mandatory).

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain end-to-end backend systems, ensuring their reliability and scalability;

Design and implement client-oriented REST APIs;

Develop secure and resilient pipelines for data ingestion and processing;

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in defining and evolving the architecture of solutions;

Ensure the quality, security and performance of the applications developed;

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and processes.
