What will be your role?
- Building, configuring, and deploying Web applications and services in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Integrating various services (databases, storage, APIs) into web applications.
- Automating processes and optimizing workflows using CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting OpenShift environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Configuring, maintaining, and monitoring infrastructure management tools to ensure maximum availability, reliability, and security.
- Staying up to date on emerging DevOps trends, technologies, and tools.
- Working closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers.
- Active participation in scrum engagements.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in DevOps or similar role.
- Strong understanding of and experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and Linux.
- Hands-on experience of Linux environment and networking.
- Experience with automation: Docker, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python) and CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise infrastructure.
- Understanding of virtualized infrastructure (VMs, software defined networks, software defined storage).
- Understanding of distributed systems and web architectures design principles.
It will be nice if you have:
- Experience with monitoring and logging: Opensearch, Prometheus, Splunk, Logstash, Newrelic.
- Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL databases, DWH and Knowledge graph.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
- Experience with event driven solutions, components, and architecture.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language is a plus.
Additional Skills and Qualities:
- Familiar with agile methodology.
- Result-oriented with a good understanding for quality and maintainability.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in international teams.
- A team player with strong English communication skills, focusing on what brings value, eager to drive change by taking the initiative and caring for an open and friendly atmosphere.
