Junior Back-End Developer

We are searching for a talented and driven Junior Back-End Developer to join our team in Almada. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to kickstart their career in back-end development. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coding and eager to learn and grow within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Help design, develop, and maintain back-end systems

Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to create seamless user experiences

Troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies

Contribute ideas to improve processes and systems

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or PHP

Experience with back-end development frameworks (e.g. Spring, Django)

Familiarity with database management systems (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB)

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous internship or project experience in back-end development

Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Experience working with APIs

Understanding of agile software development methodologies
