Project Manager

We are recruiting a Project Manager to join the delivery team of a leading technology company. You will play a key role in coordinating teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful end‑to‑end delivery of innovative technology projects within the public sector.   Lisbon (client mobility required) Direct contract with the client   What you will do - Manage projects from kickoff to closure, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and resources are delivered as agreed - Act as the main interface with external clients, managing expectations and fostering long‑term relationships - Coordinate service delivery contracts within public sector environments - Gather and analyse business and functional requirements with stakeholders - Support and guide technical teams to ensure proper understanding and delivery of solutions - Lead, motivate, coach, and develop project teams in a collaborative environment - Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle - Ensure project profitability and contribute to identifying new business opportunities - Coordinate ongoing support and evolution of delivered solutions - Document and promote best practices and continuous improvement Mandatory requirements - Higher education degree in Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, or a related IT field - More than 3 years of professional experience in Project Management - Proven experience managing external clients and service delivery contracts within public administration projects - Strong experience managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, with ownership of critical project management decisions - Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching, team motivation, and conflict resolution - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and risk‑mitigation skills - Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (traditional and/or agile) - Business‑oriented mindset with focus on project profitability and growth opportunities - Full availability to travel to client sites within the Lisbon area Nice to have - Training and/or certifications in Project Management - Preferred certifications: - PMI‑PMP - IPMA - PRINCE2 - ITIL - PM² - Scrum Master What you’ll enjoy - Continuous training and structured career development - Participation in company results - Extra vacation days - Health insurance - Laptop and phone provided - Team events, technical meetups, and a close‑knit culture - Office perks: coffee & fruit Interested?
