Data Mining Analyst

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

We are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Lisbon. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns, trends, and insights for our business. You will work with various data sources, tools, and techniques to gather and organize data, perform statistical analysis, and generate reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets

Proficient in using data mining software such as SQL, R or Python

Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Prior experience in data mining or analytics is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

Collecting and organizing large sets of structured/unstructured data from various sources

Identifying patterns, trends and insights from the data using statistical analysis methods

Creating visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis

Continuously monitoring data quality and identifying areas for improvement
