Systems solutions & Network engineer

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Networking, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in Network/Security Engineering roles.

- Strong experience in Network & Security, with particular focus on Fortinet.

- Advanced knowledge of Firewall technologies, particularly Fortinet and Check Point.

- Juniper JNCIP or Cisco CCNP certification; CCNA may also be considered.

- Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching, preferably with Cisco and/or Juniper environments.

- Knowledge of Network Service Providers, including services, SLAs, redundancy and fibre paths.

- Understanding of Data Centre Infrastructure.

- Experience with network trace analysis in critical and complex environments.

- Knowledge of Trading networks and protocols, such as SWIFT and FIX, is a plus.

- Experience with ITIL / Change Management processes.

- Fluent English, both written and spoken.

- Willingness to travel across several European countries.

- Strong security-oriented mindset and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

- Manage the maintenance, operation and evolution of network and security infrastructure, using standardised processes and automation tools.

- Ensure the provisioning, configuration and maintenance of Network & Security solutions across the infrastructure.

- Participate in infrastructure and business projects, contributing to the definition of the most efficient network architecture.

- Lead the maintenance and evolution of network solutions, ensuring alignment with technical and business requirements.

- Produce detailed Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation and coordinate its implementation with relevant technical teams.

- Manage third-party suppliers and partners, ensuring operational effectiveness and contributing to technical and design decisions.

- Coordinate technical governance with network/security vendors, hardware vendors and network service providers.

- Ensure compliance with governance, operational and change management processes.

- Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in complex and business-critical network environments.

- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, directly or through external partners.

- Ensure the availability, security, redundancy and performance of network infrastructure.

- Collaborate with multiple technical teams on the implementation, migration and maintenance of network and security solutions.
