Data Mining Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Braga As a Data Mining Analyst you will be responsible for extracting and analyzing large amounts of data to identify patterns trends and insights that can drive business decisions Your role will involve working with various data sources such as databases spreadsheets and web analytics tools You will also need to have strong communication skills to effectively present your findings to stakeholders

Responsibilities

- Gather and organize large datasets from multiple sources

- Use data mining techniques to identify patterns and trends

- Perform statistical analysis on the data and create visualizations to present findings

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide insights

- Develop predictive models and algorithms to support decision making

- Monitor data quality and identify any issues or anomalies

- Stay updated with industry trends in data mining and recommend improvements

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Statistics Mathematics Computer Science or related field

- Strong understanding of data mining techniques such as clustering regression analysis and machine learning

- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with databases

- Familiarity with statistical software R SAS is preferred but not required

- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail

- Good communication skills to present complex findings in a clear manner

Salary $1000 per month negotiable based on experience
