Job Description

As a Junior AI Engineer, you will join a team focused on developing Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions for real business problems - from predictive modelling to building solutions based on Large Language Models (LLMs) and agent-based architectures (Agentic AI), contributing to intelligent process automation and data-driven decision-making.

Its main responsibilities are:

- Design, develop and train Machine Learning and Deep Learning models to solve business problems (classification, forecasting, anomaly detection, NLP, among others);

- Explore and apply Generative Artificial Intelligence (LLM) techniques and agent-based architectures (Agentic AI) to build autonomous solutions and intelligent assistants;

- Collect, process and prepare data from different sources, ensuring the quality required for model training and evaluation;

- Evaluate, optimize and validate model performance, applying good experimentation and MLOps practices;

- Collaborate on the integration and deployment of models into production, together with engineering teams;

- Communicate results and technical conclusions to multidisciplinary teams through clear reports and visualizations;

- Stay up to date on new techniques, frameworks and trends in Machine Learning and AI, proposing their application in real-world contexts.

Candidate Profile

- Degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence or a related field;

- Strong knowledge of Python and Machine Learning / Deep Learning libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, among others);

- Experience with, or strong interest in, Generative Artificial Intelligence, LLMs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and agent-based architectures (Agentic AI);

- Knowledge of SQL and data manipulation/processing (Pandas, NumPy);

- Knowledge of statistical modelling and model evaluation;

- Experience with LLM/agent orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar) and with language model APIs is a plus;

- Knowledge of MLOps practices and model deployment (Docker, APIs, cloud) is a plus;

- Analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinking and technical curiosity;

- Proactivity, autonomy and results-oriented mindset;

- Strong communication and teamwork skills;

- Good command of English.
