We are looking for a DevOps Team Lead to join a high-impact, cross-functional team powering one of the world’s leading iGaming platforms. In this role, you’ll lead a team of DevOps engineers responsible for architecting, scaling, securing, and optimizing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across global markets. You’ll be central to platform evolution—enabling scalable deployments, automating operations, reducing costs, and ensuring rock-solid uptime for our digital gaming services.

Location: Remote (Portugal)

Salary: up to €75k/year

What You’ll Do

- Lead the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of a DevOps team

- Take ownership of platform infrastructure and application performance

- Deeply understand the platform’s architecture, processes, and operational requirements

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using modern DevOps tooling

- Continuously refine internal processes and workflows for improved efficiency

- Act as a key liaison between internal engineering, product, and external partners

- Collaborate with software and infrastructure providers to ensure platform reliability

- Support deployments, system upgrades, and performance tuning

- Oversee incident response and ensure continuous monitoring and security of the platform

What We’re Looking For

- Proven team leadership and project management experience

- Strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure and automation tools including: AWS, Rancher, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, Ansible, OpenStack, PostgreSQL administration, Networking concepts, and cloud security best practices

- Experience with monitoring and collaboration platforms (e.g., Atlassian tools or similar)

- Attention to detail and strong documentation habits

- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) - Portuguese is a welcomed plus as well

- Proactive mindset with a focus on benchmarking, optimization, and continuous improvement

- (Bonus) Technical understanding of the iGaming or online gaming industry
