Junior Data Mining Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Data Mining Specialist to join our team in Braga. As a member of our data mining department you will be responsible for extracting analysing and interpreting large sets of data to identify patterns and trends.

Your role will involve working with various databases and data analysis tools to gather and manipulate data as well as creating reports and visual presentations to present your findings.

Key Responsibilities

- - Conducting thorough research and analysis on large sets of structured and unstructured data

- - Identifying patterns and trends in data to inform business decisions

- - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable insights

- - Utilizing various data mining techniques such as clustering regression and classification

- - Developing algorithms and models to improve data mining processes

- - Creating reports dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate findings

Requirements

- - Bachelors degree in Computer Science Mathematics Statistics or related field

- - Strong analytical skills with the ability to process complex information from multiple sources

- - Proficiency in SQL and experience working with databases such as Oracle or MySQL

- - Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is preferred

- - Knowledge of statistical analysis methods and techniques is a plus

- - Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear manner

This position offers a salary of $1200 per month along with opportunities for professional development. We do not require prior experience but we do expect candidates to have a strong interest in the field of data mining.
