Network Security Automation Engineer

Job Description

Profile:

- Design and develop end-to-end Python/Django workflows that automate the request, validation, approval, and provisioning of firewall rules on FortiGate and NSX-T;

- Develop and maintain robust API connectors to seamlessly orchestrate changes across FortiManager/FortiOS and NSX-T Managers;

- Implement pre-change validation (syntax, conflict detection) and safe rollback mechanisms (idempotency) to ensure zero disruption to production traffic;

- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests for the automation codebase and ensure all generated firewall rules strictly adhere to internal security policies and compliance requirements;

- Document code, API contracts, and workflow designs to ensure a seamless transition to internal NetSecOps teams.
