Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Porto, Portugal.

As a Machine Learning Engineer you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to analyze large datasets and deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models to analyze large datasets.

- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify business problems that can be solved using machine learning techniques.

- Design experiments to test hypotheses and validate models.

- Clean, preprocess and analyze data to prepare it for use in machine learning models.

- Train and evaluate different machine learning models using appropriate metrics.

- Optimize the performance of existing machine learning models.

- Communicate technical concepts and results to non‑technical stakeholders.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist.

- Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, reinforcement learning, etc.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.

- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Salary

The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

Location

This position is based in Porto, Portugal. Relocation assistance is not provided; candidates must be willing to relocate at their own expense.
