Process Engineer

Job Description:

As a Process Engineer, the main focus of this role is to monitor the production process and track any changes to improve the process.

Manage various means to ensure process adjustments

Follow the goals of the Engineering department

Actively contribute to the development of the department

Responsibilities:

Ensure process modifications do not have a negative impact on production

Ensure the necessary modifications to assembly lines, functional tests and carry out timely actions to promote their correct functioning

Ensure the management of means of production, etc. so that they meet factory and customer requirements

Ensure process improvement and prepare the department's spending and investment budget

Ensure programming changes or improvements (PLC) in production lines

Work on improving the balance of production lines

Carry out functional tests on the lines to ensure their proper functioning

Participate in the management of production resources so that they meet factory and customer requirements

Participate in the PFMEA, RFMEA and MFMEA process

Provide support to the Maintenance department

Manage department staff (selection, training, etc.) encourage and actively participate in improvement

Know the general procedures of the Lear Corporation Group, as well as those that directly affect the job

Maintain order and cleanliness at your workstation

Comply with the requirements in force in the company regarding the Environment, Health & Safety at work

Requirements:

University degree in mechanical engineering or any relevant technical diploma

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position

Fluent in Portuguese and English
