Python & Angular Developer

We’re looking for a

Python (FastAPI) & Angular Developer

to join a collaborative technology team based in

Porto , working on innovative solutions within the financial services sector.

Location:

Porto, Portugal

Work model:

Hybrid —

2 days per week in the office

What will you be doing?

Develop and maintain frontend features using

Angular & TypeScript

Build stable, secure, and efficient backend APIs using

Python & FastAPI

Develop end-to-end features and ensure seamless frontend/backend integration

Work with

REST APIs, SQL and Git

Implement unit and integration tests

Apply secure coding practices and

OWASP

guidelines

Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies

Troubleshoot, debug and optimize applications

Work closely with the

Tech Lead

and the wider development team

What are we looking for?

3+ years of professional software development experience

Hands-on experience with

Python & FastAPI

Mid-level experience with

Angular & TypeScript

Good knowledge of

HTML5, CSS3/SCSS and responsive design

Experience with relational databases and

SQL

Good knowledge of

Git, Agile/Scrum and CI/CD concepts

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn

Fluent Portuguese — mandatory

English B2 or above — mandatory

French is a plus

Nice to have:

Experience with

Docker/Containerization , structured corporate environments, or

FinTech, Banking or Financial Services .
