We are hiring a skilled Java Developer to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java programming language and related technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software applications using Java programming language

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and deliver quality software solutions

Write efficient, reusable and well-documented code

Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing software systems

Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Proven experience as a Java Developer or similar role

Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles

Proficient in Java programming language, as well as related frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate

Experience with database design and development using SQL

Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)
