Technical Architect - Azure/.NET

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Define and govern the technical architecture of applications, APIs, microservices, integrations and Azure services

• Design scalable, secure, resilient cloud-native solutions based on microservices and distributed architectures

• Define technical standards and guide development teams on architecture and implementation decisions

• Work closely with Development, QA and DevOps teams on security, observability, CI/CD, performance, availability and disaster recovery

• Identify technical risks, dependencies and technical debt, promoting continuous improvement

• Provide hands-on technical guidance and maintain close involvement with implementation

• Lead technical architecture activities across multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions using Microsoft technologies

• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET and ASP.NET Core

• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure

• Proven experience with microservices and distributed architectures

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and integration architectures

• Experience with Azure App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Storage and Azure SQL

• Experience with event-driven and asynchronous architectures

• Experience with Azure API Management

• Strong application security knowledge, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Microsoft Entra ID and secrets/certificates management

• Experience with Azure DevOps, including Repos and CI/CD Pipelines

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform or Bicep

• Experience with Docker and preferably Azure Kubernetes Service

• Strong knowledge of SOLID, design patterns and Clean Architecture

• Experience providing technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams

Nice to have:

• Microsoft Azure certifications, particularly Azure Solutions Architect Expert

• Experience with DDD and CQRS

• Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture

• Experience with Event Grid and Event Hubs

• Experience with Application Insights, Azure Monitor and distributed tracing

• Experience with FinOps

• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity

• Experience with business-critical cloud platforms
