Beyond technical responsibilities, the position requires excellent collaboration
and communication with various departments to align security policies and
procedures with overall business objectives and compliance regulations.
For this role is expected to stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and
threats, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and
professional development. This role demands a proactive security approach,
anticipating potential vulnerabilities and acting preventively to thwart
incidents before they occur.
Responsibilities:
Critically analyze and solve security issues under pressure.
Stay current with cybersecurity trends and threats through continuous learning.
Implement and maintain robust security measures and controls.
Monitor security systems to identify and analyze potential threats.
Conduct thorough security assessments and audits.
Develop and enforce comprehensive security policies and procedures.
Engage in incident response activities, including investigation and recovery coordination.
Profile sought:
Degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematics, or related field, or professional cybersecurity certifications.
At least 2 years of experience in the cybersecurity field.
Strong foundation in network principles, security protocols, and information security principles.
Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux/Unix, and MacOS.
Experience with programming languages like Python and PowerShell.
