Job Description

ALPINEO is looking for a Data Engineer / Platform Engineer to join our team and work on modern data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and data engineering solutions.

Location: Fully Remote or Hybrid — Lisbon / Porto

What you’ll be working with

- Creating and managing buckets & datasets

- Managing labels, modules, permissions & secrets

- Configuring Transfer Jobs

- Git / GitLab and version control

- Commits & Merge Requests

- Developing workflows using YAML

- Building and managing data ingestion pipelines

- Python & SQL

- dbt (Data Build Tool)

- ETL/ELT development and management

- Automated testing

- Integrated technical documentation

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, Cloud, or related areas, with strong knowledge of Python and SQL and an interest in building scalable and automated data solutions.

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Git/GitLab, CI/CD, Argo Workflows, and dbt is highly valued.
