Java Backend Developer Junior

Profile:

- Around 2 years of professional experience in backend development using Java;

- Knowledge of microservices development;

- Knowledge of RESTful API and/or GraphQL development;

- Familiarity with OpenAPI and API documentation;

- Knowledge of unit and integration testing;

- Knowledge of code quality and security tools, notably SonarQube and Snyk;

- Knowledge of Git and GitLab, including pull requests and code review processes;

- Interest in IAM technologies and concepts, notably Keycloak, Okta and OIDC;

- Experience or knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies;

- Fluency in Portuguese and English (C1).

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain Java microservices for products in the Checkout, MyAccount and ODR Processing areas, under the guidance of senior developers;

- Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs, in accordance with OpenAPI documentation standards;

- Develop unit and integration tests, contributing to the quality gates in the pipelines;

- Take part in various Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives;

- Adhere to development standards, security guidelines and pull request processes via GitLab;

- Support the integration of IAM flows, namely Keycloak, Okta and OIDC, with guidance from senior team members;

- Take part in the analysis and resolution of technical issues, gradually developing autonomy;

- Take part in a structured upskilling programme, with support from technical specialists;

- Collaborate with the team on the continuous improvement of development and quality practices.
