Python Developer

Join a technology team supporting IT risk management within the banking sector. Based in Lisbon with a hybrid working model, you will contribute to the development and evolution of internal risk-related applications using Python and PL/SQL.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Develop and maintain applications supporting IT risk management activities.

Implement reliable backend components and data-processing logic using Python, SQL and PL/SQL.

Apply software engineering principles, design patterns and development best practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Contribute to application quality, maintainability and continuous improvement within an established technology environment.

Collaborate with technical teams involved in development, deployment and operational processes.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

At least 6 years of professional experience in Python software development.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with an autonomous approach to technical delivery.

Ability to work collaboratively within a structured technology and risk environment.

Understanding of software engineering principles and maintainable application design.
